Toddler Activity Schedule May '21

Part of the Reggio Emilia approach calls for following the kids' lead. Landen started bringing firetrucks to KayCare--so I got out more firetrucks and cars for everyone to share. Then the kids started asking for the Cocomelon "train song" and "color car" songs so it was set: We added firetrucks, helicopters and cars to the train set and tractors. We will sing "Wheels on the Bus” and color cars and trucks with the Cocomelon song. We will have a soapy sensory car wash, tractors in the garden tub and boats in the kiddie pool. We’ll read books about buses, tractors and trains. We will ride the trike and balance bike and push carts and take wagon rides. We’ll incorporate cars, trains and trucks into as many activities as we can!

Remember every day we have ️ 🌳 outdoor time and 📚 literacy. Every week we do 🎶music and 💃movement . We have centers for dramatic play, balls, various manipulatives, Montessori work (IE smelling jars), music, toys and books. And every weekday we do a themed activity schedule below.
