PreK 2-5 for April 2022

🌳🥔 🌿 Green Kingdom 🥗🌱🥕

Spring is the perfect season to go back to a favorite: seeds and planting and gardening! I also got inspiration from my childhood favorite “The Green Kingdom” Childcraft Encyclopedia #oldschool. We will plant beans in CD cases to watch them sprout, plant herbs in eggshells, and dig real potatoes from the garden tub! We will use plants/fruits to make our own paints and help Miss Kay make french fried potatoes for lunch. We will have a sensory bin with flowers and plants, a flower shop, and will try to incorporate plants, seeds, and flowers into many activities!

Remember every day we have ️ 🌳 outdoor time and 📚 literacy. Every week we do 🎶music and 💃movement . We have centers for dramatic play, balls, various manipulatives, and table work (IE Montessori style and Loose Parts etc), music, toys and books.
