Toddler Activity Schedule for September 2020

🌟🐻🚤 RHYMES, TALES & SONGS 💖🐦🕷

The kids have been all about singing! Memorizing songs and acting out the motions. We also have a lot of language blossoming. This is what led me to a theme including classic nursery rhymes and fairy tales plus some Bob Marley songs (his daughter has published some adorable board books based on her dad’s music). We will sing and recite and listen and read rhymes, tales and songs. Our activities will include stars, hearts, counting to 3, brown bears and black spiders, and a sensory bin with colored water and boats. Every activity connecting to a song, tale or rhyme.

Remember every day we have ️ 🌳 outdoor time and 📚 literacy. Every week we do 🎶music and 💃movement . We have centers for dramatic play, balls, various manipulatives, Montessori work (IE smelling jars), music, toys and books. And every weekday we do a themed activity schedule below:

Mondays: Fine Motor 🖖and Sensory 🖐

1st and 3rd Tuesday:Colors 🎨

2nd and 4th Tuesday: Letters 📚✏

Wednesday: Art and Dictation 🖼📝

1st and 3rd Thursday: Shapes ⭕️

1st and 3rd Thursday: Numbers🎲

Friday: Teacher Choice 👩‍🏫
