The Reggio Emilia Approach lets children guide the learning --our next KayCare theme is inspired by many things. For one, my own daughter is smelling ševerything lately LOL. Next, there have been a lot of birds outside to listen to š. And finally, all the KayCare kids love āIf youāre Happy and You Know itā and are close to following the steps.
Therefore, our monthly theme for November will be:
šš½āāļøšš½OUR BODY & SENSES šš
I will create smelling jars. We'll have new tastes at snack time š„. We will work on identifying body parts š¦¶š»by singing songs š¶. Weāll read books š like āEyes, Nose Fingers and Toesā. We will take care of baby dolls and cook with toy food in the play kitchen. We will continue to slide and swing and run and play outside. And we will continue to work on colors š and shapes āļø with multi-sensory activities.
