Toddler Activity Schedule for May 2020

Elaborating on our very first KayCare unit “Wheels”--this time we will have all types of transportation from tricycles to cars, tractors to firetrucks, planes and trains! We will incorporate all our learning into:

🚲🚗🚜🚛 Transportation 🚒🚂🛩🚤

New toys and centers will include an entire train set, fire trucks, planes and helicopters--along with our old favorite cars, tractors and trucks! We will sing Wheels on the Bus and dance in a train line. We will paint with cars and have a soapy sensory car wash. We will have tractors in the garden tub and boats in the kiddie pool. We will paint buses and boats while we talk about colors. We will have shape roadways and read books about buses, tractors and trains. We will ride the trike and push carts and take wagon rides! We will continue to work on 2 year old and 3 year old milestones with all the activities below:

Remember every day we have ️ 🌳 outdoor time and 📚 literacy. Every week we do 🎶music and 💃movement . We have centers for dramatic play, balls, various manipulatives, Montessori work (IE smelling jars), music, toys and books. And every weekday we do a themed activity schedule below:

Monday: Colors 🎨

Tuesday: Shapes ⭕️

Wednesday: Sensory 🖐

Thursday: Fine Motor 🖖

Friday: Gross Motor 🤾‍♀️
