Toddler Activity Schedule for February '21

🍦🐘 Should I Share my Ice Cream? 🍨🐖

All the kids have been loving playing with the toy ice cream, I wanted a unit on SHARING for February, and we’ve always loved Mo Willems. So …”Should I Share my Ice Cream” is our February unit! We will read the Elephant and Piggie book and “Groovy Joe Ice Cream & Dinosaurs”--both about sharing ice cream. We will also read Daniel Tiger’s “Friends Ask First” and sing songs about sharing. We’ll have ice cream activities for sensory play and building fine motor skills; we’ll make homemade “ice cream in a bag” and frozen yogurt “color song popsicles”! And continue to work on colors, shapes, and numbers using ice cream! We are also ⅔ through the alphabet!

Remember every day we have ️ 🌳 outdoor time and 📚 literacy. Every week we do 🎶music and 💃movement . We have centers for dramatic play, balls, various manipulatives, Montessori work (IE smelling jars), music, toys and books. And every weekday we do a themed activity schedule below.
