Toddler Activity Schedule for February 2020

Thinking of love led to a favorite book of Arya’s, One Love, based on the Bob Marley song. It sings of one heart, love for family, the flower loving the bee, loving to be free like a bird, and loving the beat of music. The book also pictures friends coming together to take care of Mother Earth. All this will inspire our activities for February’s theme of

We will sing songs and read books celebrating love for family and friends. We will do color projects with pink, yellow, and blue inspired by One Love. We’ll continue to work on shapes, hone fine motor skills, and explore with sensory activities. We will play drums and dance to music and use recycled/reused materials in our sensory bin.

Remember every day we have ️ 🌳 outdoor time and 📚 literacy. Every week we do 🎶music and 💃movement . We have centers for dramatic play, balls, various manipulatives, Montessori work (IE smelling jars), music, toys and books. And every weekday we do a themed activity schedule below:

Monday/Thursday: Colors 🎨

Tuesday/Monday: Shapes ⭕️

Wednesday/Tuesday: Sensory 🖐

Thursday/Wednesday: Fine Motor 🖖

Friday: Gross Motor 🤾‍♀️
