Toddler Activity Schedule for December 2019

🎅HOLIDAYS, 🙋‍♀️HELPING AND 🙏MANNERS

Due to cold season and a holiday week: We still have a week of activities with November’s  🏃‍♀️“Our Body & Senses” 👃 theme.

Then we have 2 weeks in December to do a short unit on “Helping and Manners”: The kids have shown they’re ready to start helping pick up, so we will use “the cleanup song”. We have friends beginning to use the signs for “please” and “thank you”, so we will work on manners plus signs for “help” and “wait”.

We’ll also have 🎅“Winter Holiday”🎄 themed activities with colors 🎨 and shapes ⭕️ leading up to our Christmas break.

Remember every day we have ️ 🌳 outdoor time and 📚 literacy. Every week we do 🎶music and 💃movement . We have centers for dramatic play, balls, various manipulatives, Montessori work (IE smelling jars), music, toys and books. And every weekday we do a themed activity schedule below: 

Monday: Colors  🎨

Tuesday: Shapes ⭕️ 

Wednesday: Sensory 🖐

Thursday: Fine Motor 🖖

Friday: Gross Motor  🤾‍♀️
