Toddler Activity Schedule for December

🚂 🔔☃️ THE POLAR EXPRESS ☕️ ❄️ 🎅🏼

Everyone in KayCare loves trains! So how to combine trains and the December holidays? The Polar Express of course! We will read the book and have all of our train sets out. Then we’ll make shape train tracks to review triangles, squares, rectangles and hexagons! We will have a “hot cocoa” sensory bin and use marshmallows to decorate the letter M. We will use blue ice to color snowflakes and play in fake snow. We will sing Jingle Bells, count and string bells, and play with bells and magnets. We will also make and decorate cinnamon ornaments and gingerbread houses and sing Christmas carols.

Remember every day we have ️ 🌳 outdoor time and 📚 literacy. Every week we do 🎶music and 💃movement . We have centers for dramatic play, balls, various manipulatives, Montessori work (IE smelling jars), music, toys and books. And every weekday we do a themed activity schedule below.
