Toddler Activity Schedule for August 2020

šš½āāļøšš½OUR HEALTHY BODIES šš
The kids have been all about naming the parts of their face and singing āHead Shoulders Knees and Toes,ā so weāre going to build on that in our next unit: Our Healthy Bodies. Many of these activities will be revisited from our November unit on our body and senses--plus new activities like colorful veggie dip tasting and working with letters and numbers! We will put the dolls, doctor kit and high chair with playfood in focus, and play with our new larger potato head collection! And we will watch Daniel Tiger and Elmo talk about going on the potty and read our potty books to continue our introduction to potty training.
Remember every day we have ļø š³ outdoor time and š literacy. Every week we do š¶music and šmovement . We have centers for dramatic play, balls, various manipulatives, Montessori work (IE smelling jars), music, toys and books. And every weekday we do a themed activity schedule below:
Mondays: Fine Motor šand Sensory š
1st and 3rd Tuesday:Colors šØ
2nd and 4th Tuesday: Letters šā
Wednesday: Art and Dictation š¼š
1st and 3rd Thursday: Shapes āļø
1st and 3rd Thursday: Numbersš²
Friday: Teacher Choice š©āš«
