Snacks!

I try to ensure snacks are nutritious, but I'm also practical :) We don't serve juice as it is mostly sugar and (just like screen time)--I like to leave the treats for ya'll to have at home! I do serve yogurt bites--they have a little protein and vitamins and only 4g of sugar, and my Arya loves them. I try to serve fresh fruit and vegetables when possible, but will also serve canned or frozen--I do choose fruit canned in 100% juice and never heavy syrup, and I choose vegetables canned with no salt when possible. I will offer milk or water with every snack/meal. I offer whole milk until they are 2 years old and then 1% milk (as per our pediatrician's recommendation). If you provide milk/formula--I am happy to serve that instead. And at this age--I ensure that pieces are bite-sized and am always monitoring kids directly to prevent choking.
I will offer an AM and PM snack every day--every snack will include something from column 1 and something from column 2 (this is a sample list as I will add items regularly):
