šāāļøššOur Healthy Body & Mindš©š½āā¤ļøāšØš¼š§ š„°
We will transition from āMe in our Community'' to āOur Healthy Body and Mindā . The first week will be āParts of Our Bodyā--including books like What Is a Bellybutton? and The Foot Book and singing our āParts of the Bodyā song. We will then move onto talking about āThe Five Sensesā : reading books like I Spy with My Little Eye, taking sensory walks in the wagon, and matching the smelling jars. Next we will focus on āHealthy Food & Exerciseā and make a pizza together like Pizza Pat, and do all kinds of silly exercises to songs like āSafety Danceā! And finally weāll end with āOur Feelings'', reading books like What are You so Grumpy About? and singing āItās alright to Cry.ā
Remember every day we have ļø š³ outdoor time and š literacy. Every week we do š¶music and šmovement . We have centers for dramatic play, balls, various manipulatives, and table work (IE Montessori style and Loose Parts etc), music, toys and books.
